A short bio, then the farm

I live in Warwick, NY. I've spent eleven years at Forbes, where I run demand generation as an executive director, and that work is most of this site. I have an MBA and a BBA in marketing from Ithaca College. In 2026 I started Stedd, which helps trades businesses stop losing jobs to missed calls. Most of that work happens after the boys are asleep.

I like taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and then building something more complicated than I probably needed.

Finished. The chickens moved in.

I designed and built the coop, then partly rebuilt it after the chickens found the flaws. The fence line keeps growing, and I fix the cars in the shop. That's most of what weekends look like out here.

It's all seasonal, which is a big part of why we live here.
